The Wild is a uniquely designed 3D paper pop-up object that unfolds a story as you play with it. Paper engineer Simon Arzipe brings us this new form of storytelling that allows the reader to interact with the object in a whole new way.
After 2 years of designing, prototyping and testing, Arizpe created a successful Kickstarter campaign to fund the production of The Wild in April 2016.
The Wild received an award from the Society of Illustrators and the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art, and is in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian Cooper Hewitt Design Library and the library of the School of Visual Arts. (Source: simonarizpe.com)
