You may have already discovered our new page with an overview of the books that we can expect this year but there’s more to share. Here is a summary of the latest pop-up book news.

What a Mess a 5:00 am Pop-up project at Kickstarter

what-a-mess-pop-up-bookSoon there will be another great pop-up book project at Kickstarter. We already introduced Keith Allen and his amazing project  before. The talented illustrator, designer and paper engineer who gets up early (5:00 am) every day to work at the amazing What a mess pop-up book. His project has taken an exciting turn after an exhaustive search for an agent and publisher. Keith has decided to raise funds through crowdfunding platform Kickstarter to make his pop-up book happen. He needs your help to make it possible to produce and publish this pop-up book. More about this very soon. We will keep you informed about news and developments and let you know right away when his KickStarter project starts. We would love to see this book on Amazon but therefor, we first need to help Keith to fund his project and who knows what will happen!

My next step will be a Kickstarter campaign to collect enough pre-orders to cover production costs. I know that kickstarter can be even more challenging, so please help spread the word and keep an eye out if you’d like to pre-order. Thanks for all the love and support!!!

Don’t forget to follow, share and support Keith Allen’s project. His FaceBook page is a joy to follow. We promise that as soon we can get a copy, we will make a video review and share it with you. Follow and support Keith Allen and his project at Facebook.

New Robert Sabuda release: The Christmas Story

the-christmas-story-robert-sabuda-pop-up-bookLong ago in the town of Bethlehem, on a bright and starry night, a baby was born, a child who was called the son of God… Do we need to say more? This is great news for all Sabuda fans out there. Another upcoming pop-up book that we are exited about is Robert Sabuda’s newest Christmas pop-up book title: The Christmas Story. It contains six pop-up scenes and linting with touches of gold and pearlescent foil. Sabuda is known for his best selling classic Christmas pop-up books so this new title is something worth waiting for. We think this will be an already classic Christmas pop-up title. As a gift for Christmas or of course, for yourself to make your Sabuda Christmas pop-up book collection complete. This new pop-up book will be released ahead of Christmas at September 27, 2016 but if you want to be first, you can already pre-order it at Amazon.

Trains: A Pop-Up Railroad Book (reissue)

Paper engineer Robert Crowther, who also created Ships: A Pop-Up Book, comes with a reissue of a similar styled pop-up book called Trains: A Pop-Up Railroad Book. There’s some confusion about the publication date but right now, on Amazon, this edition of Trains is available from May 24, 2016 and ready to pre-order. For those who missed the first train…

The Raven (Art Pop-up book?)

A new title that got our attention is the Raven Pop-up book. We cant wait to see how it looks like when a book created by paper engineer David Pelham (Trail) gets together with illustrations of Chris Wormell and the story of the Raven written by Edgar Allan Poe. The cover shows an almost Frank Miller like, dark artwork in the graphic (cut out/stamp) style of Wormell. It already invites you to take a look inside. Release date: August 9, 2016.
