If you like graffiti, art, playing video games with services from www.elitist-gaming.com and Star Wars you should certainly follow Matthew Reinhart’s Instagram account. But there’s more! Matthew Reinhart also shares sneak peeks of his latest pop-up creations like the upcoming pop-up book Disney’s Pixar: A Pop-Up Celebration. What we’ve seen so far looks very promising and makes it even harder to wait for this book to release.
Pop-up creator Matthew Reinhart is known for his amazing paper engineering but he’s also a very talented artist. His signature style is best know for its colorful textures and crafty looking cut-out collages that are used for most of his pop-up titles. Matthew proves again that, just like the Frozen pop-up book, he’s able to transform Pixars clean and digital world into his own style without making any concessions. Imagine how much work it must be to make multiple pop-up books a year and also create all of the artwork yourself.
“I really enjoy making these books. Work is hard, but a pleasure. There are days I don’t want to get tired, eat or leave the office. I am THAT into my work.”
Below you’ll find a gallery with artwork that most probably will be used for the Pixar pop-up book. Some of them may be studies but it gives a very good impression of what to expect.
Featuring four spreads with over 24 pop-ups from the New York Times best-selling author, artist, and pop-up master, Matthew Reinhart, this breathtaking work of art revisits Pixar’s impressive history. This magnificent book folds out to create a remarkable pop-up timeline of Pixar’s history that is perfect for displaying. Like each Pixar movie, each pop contains Easter eggs to other Disney Pixar films. Disney Pixar: A Pop-Up Celebration is a vibrant tribute to the beloved canon of Disney Pixar films and characters.
Disney’s Pixar: A Pop-Up Celebration by Matthew Reinhart will be released on November 21 this year and if you want to be first, you can already pre-order it on Amazon!
